To enrich the lives of adults of all experience levels and abilities through quality arts learning experiences. This new program provides funding for eligible institutions that wish to host a short-term (up to 10 days) residency program with professional artists who are listed on the Arts in Education Artist Roster. The Arts in Education Artist Roster is a listing of Arkansas artists of all disciplines who have been selected by an independent panel to participate in Arts in Education residency programs.
Have an IRS Letter of Determination qualifying the institution/organization or its administrative authority as a nonprofit organization.
Provide an organization staff member to be present during the mini-residency program to serve as a co-learner with the participants and/or a co-teacher with the artist.
Must be involved in the human service profession for a minimum of three years, and must have paid and/or volunteer staff who will devote time and effort to implement the mini-residency program.
